NEW STYLE ESS INC. AFFF FIRE BOTTLES

The ESS Inc. AFFF fire bottle tank is made of aluminum. The AFFF solution inside the bottle can freeze so the bottle should be removed from the chassis if you are storing your car in a cold environment. These new ESS Inc. bottles have been supplied in the new SRF kits over the last few years. If you have a newer SRF or have replaced your fire bottle you should make sure you remove the bottle for off-season cold storage.

PENSKE SHOCK EYELETS

The eyelet at the top of the shock can loosen over time. When this happens the shock shaft can unscrew itself from the eyelet and the shock will come apart. Make sure to check this during your race prep and if you find one that has loosened, clean the threads and reassemble with red lock-tite.

HAWK BRAKE PADS

The tapered pad is installed on the inside of the rotor.

BRAKE ROTORS

Minimum thickness is .413 or 10.49mm make sure you check them!
